and if you really enjoy your own music, it is like touching yourself....

Seriously, I know the feeling. It is hit or miss, mostly miss when I put new tracks up in the link your own music.

i found you have to review the shit out of other people if you want to get heard

on sc that doesnt even work very well, lol

if you have 1/3 as many reviews in as you have written for others youre kickin ass...

Thanks. No Maschine here, the drums are mostly chopped up breaks using drum racks and either pads on my Kontrol49 or the MPD. The mix was done using Live's FX and a few freebies, then ran the tracks out to a yamaha mixer with a dub delay and recorded back the stereo out.

That was one of my old band's songs which I don't think we got around to releasing. While making the record I found the vocal take and decided to sort of remix it. The original recording sounds really different.

Yeah, I can see why it happens. The forum moves down too fast with people posting music constantly, and it's hard to find time to listen to all of it. I wish we had something that would make finding music you like in there easier, some kind of genre tag/rating/review system, because I know I've missed a ton of music I would pick up instantly.

nice bassline on the second tune, just what i like.

i clicked the fb 'like' to post it on my fb but the comment i wrote didnt show up :?

whatever - nice stuff, the whole product looks and sounds top notch. i been planning a similar vinyl/download thing for a while now and this is the kick up the arse i need to go get it done

i was thinking of just setting it up myself on my site but what do you reckon about the bandcamp scenario?

cheers

^ This. I'm loving it. It takes away the hassle of setting up a storefront and gives you a lot of options on how you want to distribute your music.

I'd say the hardest part of doing a physical release is figuring out the shipping, and you should really look for different options. I just found out CD Baby sells vinyl now, so that might be a good choice if you don't want to do the shipping yourself.

just because you get more views on here doesn't mean people are listening to your music. unfortunately it seems many people today just dont like listening to music. even those who make it. i would of listened if it was in link your music, but refuse to if its posted here. i want link your music to grow. you just want people to look at you and tell you how great you are i guess.
