Hi everyone,
When I want to preview a sound in the browser, it usually works.
But sometimes, without changing my configuration, it doesn't work anymore although the "headphones" button is blue, the volume is up, the timeline moves over the waveform, so it has to work...
I don't know what action I did to desactivate the preview.
Does anyone know how to avoid that, and how to reactivate the preview without restarting live ?
Thx

Preview sound in the browser
Re: Preview sound in the browser
It's a long shot but have you changed your cue output, maybe to a channel that is turned down on the audio interface?

Hi quantize,
You were right..
The fact is that I currently use Live with my external audio interface (focusrite saffire pro 40) when I play with my band : I send a click to the drummer through output 3 (that is not the Main Output).
When I re-open the project at home without the external audio interface, Ableton does not automatically detect that the specific cue out is not there.
So I have to reconfigure it...
It could be easier if Ableton would select an existing (physical) output for the cue, especially when the hardware is not there !!
Thanks a lot
