could I use speakers like this for house shows?

Yo,

I don't know anything about speakers that aren't monitors. Someone is selling these near me on kijiji:

I was thinking about getting something like this for putting on house shows. I don't have a pa... I have an edirol fa-101, and a laptop. They are passive. does that mean that I can just put patchchords from my interface through them?

What do you mean by "house show"?

If you mean playing out to a crowd at a venue then I'd suggest that those particular speakers
would not be up to the job. They're too small and inefficient.

You'd be better off using something that has a 12" or 15" driver, an onboard amp (of 300-400W)
and an efficency nearer to 99-100dB/W.
