man, we've tried for years to get this up and running, and for a while we did, having lots of performances and having two demos at the apple store, "sponsored" by ableton HQ, and with folks from the forum, pretty cool, have you contacted the ableton guys?

the meetup page looks pretty cool, however i'd try to get a venue bit more central...

in any case, good luck with it

hi buddies from London,

I'll be visiting a friend in London in march and I'm looking venues to go to, not 4 to the floor but more experimental kind of electronic music.

where to go and how to find, any ideas?

thanx, Bastian

Do you mean the downstairs bar at Victoria (Sapphire Lounge?) ? I popped by once and the stuff going on was really interesting but it seems to disappear and was difficult to track down.

It would be excellent to have a venue for people to try out short sets (hopefully to an interested and supportive audience!). Anyone know of any likely Central London venues?

That would be Hidden Away Electronic at the Sapphire Lounge. I played my first live set there and had a great time, although I'm not sure they are running it any more? Would love to try out some new material in a similar venue if one exists?
