Ableton Live Impulse or Drum Rack & Roland TD-9 V-Drums

Post by infojungle » Sun Mar 11, 2012 7:18 pm

Hi, I have Roland TD-9 Drumkit and I've succesfully hooked it up to Ableton using a UM-ONE MIDI to USB interface.

I loaded an instance of Impulse into an existing MIDI track.
When I hit the pads there's sound coming out of my Ableton but it has a kind of squeeky sound and is not really playing the correct notes.

When i hit a tom for instance it plays a note but not the tom note.
Also when I hit the snare it plays the same note.

Is there a way to change the mapping and get rid of that awful squeeky sound when I hit the pads.

I want to be able to play random samples using a Drum Rack or Impulse instance using my Roland TD-9 drumkit.

Any help or insights on this are very welcome.

I'm on Mac OSX 10.7.3 and Ableton Live Suite 8

Thanks in advance.
