Losing the WAV visual when saving

Post by James Two » Tue Mar 13, 2012 8:45 pm

I'm having a weird problem. I am getting ready to move across the country and can't bring all my vinyl with me. So rather than leave it all behind and work on it later I am recording track that I will eventually sample. When I am recording in the song I see the wav forming as the vinyl plays. After the track is finished I rename the clip what the song and artist are and go to save. Then as Ableton reads the audio file to save it like stops about 8 bars in and thats it.....that you can see. As I scroll through the track i can hear the audio from wherever I drop it and I can zoom in alot and see the audio, but when I zoom out only the first 8 bars is visual. This makes it difficult to see what part of the WAV I am working with. I've never seen this happen. And its weird cause I did this same process for the last three days without it happening.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.
