How to make a dub siren in Operator?

Post by abletony84 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 4:36 pm

Greetings folks!

Does anybody know how to make a good sounding dub siren in Operator? Ofcourse there's the Dub Siren VST over at interruptor.ch, but I don't know, they just don't sound right. I was hoping to get something that sounds a little bit more like the beginning this?

Thanks for listening!

I feel like Im taking crazy pills. I know what Dub is as a genre and I know what the word means, but...

Why is the word DUB used on EVERY TUTORIAL EVER??? It doesn't mean anything.

I watched a friggin' 20 min tutorial on 'Dub Reverb' to find out what the hell dub reverb is only to find out 'Dub Reverb' is 'Reverb'.

Its almost as bad as 'random'.

you are right! dub is actually just a template, not a real genre...carry on...

F-U-N-N-Y J-O-K-E-S.

Dude comes in saying he knows what Dub is as a genre [this implies he understands Dub is a genre].
Dude mentions the indisputable, scientifically proven ***fact*** that youtube tutorials abuse the term to the point where it's a meaningless buzzword.

Superhero comes in to show the world that Dub is a WELL KNOWN GENRE wow Super Mario Warp Zone powerboingas! You sure proved the guy wrong about something he fucking agrees with you on.
You're the champion. You won! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY you did it.
