Same here, this forum is a much better place for that sort of thing, warts and all.
They still need to do something about their search engine though, there's no excuse for how crappy it is!

Just be aware, the + operator (used to force words and phrases to appear in search results) isn't working anymore in Google - "you" "have" "to" "use" "quotes" "now".

Not at all - we closed UHE because we believe that we have a much better platform for users helping each other in Answers, not to mention the Knowledge Base and new support contact forms. In general, the Support section is much more informative and easier to access to now - check it out and please don't hesitate to share your thoughts.

i posted a question in Answers during the beta. my settings must have been set to send me an email for replies. i probably wouldn't do that on a forum post, but in Answers the posts do seem to be more dialed in, on topic, dry, dull, right, and wrong... short, sweet. etc. That is to say, i haven't bothered to change the email setting because it is pretty non-intrusive and/or specific. it seems like Answers is good for answers but geared more toward fact than opinion - if that makes sense.

Man, that new 'Answers' solution is fucking annoying. I can't find ANYTHING with ease and the interface is atrocious. Why kill a perfectly good solution, even if it did have some noise? At least the search on this forum works. Booh, Ableton. BOOH!

I think rocketman is confusing UHE with Uhe the plugin site, hence the warez noob/buy it now remark.

Given his regular, compulsive use of the words "noob" and "macfag", what you're seeing may be more readily explained by the Dunning-Kruger effect and neurotic insecurity.
