Hit command K and simply map any key u want to draw tool. I use B.

Also dude, use system preferences to map the file browsers to opt+1 opt+2 etc. it's awesome.

It seems we cannot change F1/F12 keys anymore as it used to be..
Is there any way to do that? (On MBP.)

Using the normal custom shortcuts feature on a Mac on Mountain Lion doesn't work for the F keys. I did it exactly as you described, their behavior dont change. (Other changes works, only F keys' changes do not.)
I didnt try ikey though; maybe it is the trick? i'll try that utility.

F keys working; but only standart Live behavior, not assignable.
They dont change neither within Live nor from keyboard preferences.
ill give a try to Ikey as you suggested.
