Hi everybody. I'm trying to run a one-man show so I need Ableton to "stop" at certain points in the show, and then I restart it at future points. I have a MIDI controller programmed to start and stop but it doesn't auto stop, i have to push the button and i can't do that in the live show. It must auto stop.
any Ideas?

I wouldn't have my email address all over the place my friend. There are robots out there that are just looking to send you lots of great email about viagra. You can PM on a forum which is a bit safer.
Auto stop. How would Ableton know when you want it to stop? If you can divide your music up into clips then have each clip play once then you shouldn't have a problem.

You could use CliveX on a locator in arrangement but I didn't want to go there.
He did get to wondering how to do a shift-space with midi, so he's getting there.
