can't open .dmg version 8.3

Hello

I have a macbook with OSX 10.5.8, I also downloaded the new version of Live but when I open the dmg it says: "...not activatable..."
Do I need to update my computersoftware? If that's the case, it sucks! Why not make a version that also applies to older software?
Now I can't update Live :cry:

Try downloading again. Maybe it got corrupted somehow...

Wireless? If so & it still doesn't work, try to plug directly into your modem / router.

Okay, and do I need to choose "with sounds" because I heard there are new instruments available?
Last time I just downloaded it with the "program only" option.
