Common guys, you couldn't hold out, could ya.

Ok, so, to give you an inside scoop - the Live 9 launch has been rigged to happen automatically when the amount of Live 9 threads reaches a certain amount. However, there have been a few glitches with the Beta, so those in the know were asked to dissuade any new Live 9 threads in order to prevent the automatic launch from happening before all the bugs are sorted out.

Is anyone else getting really sluggish response when moving the bezier handles? I upgraded my video driver but it doesn't seem to make a difference...

in which view? clip, session or arrange. I think they're still buttoning up the session view automation stuff. it was ok for me in 9.1b and 9.2b but the latest 9.6b it is a bit sluggish.

My biggest wish for Live 9 is a new instrument, maybe it could be called "Flame." It automatically integrates with all Ableton forum posts speculating on Live 10, decoding the posts into music we would be making if we weren't spending so much time in the forums.

:)

This would be really handy for me.

I feel like it should have "The" in front of it. "The Flame" --- ooooh I like it.

Does that accessory actually exist? I've always wondered how some dudes can get their pants to sag THAT much, and not be... well... you know.

There was a thread on it that seems gone now but it was something along the lines of the guys from Bitwig designed it when they worked for Ableton but others said the users wouldn't be ready for it. Don't quote me on that.

Could the guys in the beta please confirm that Live 9 comes with the authentic 3Phase SrsTkno loops package? Major selling point for me, I r excited.

I was thinking about that, but since none of the other Ableton instruments have "The" decided to leave it out. I also thought about some way of misusing their/there/they're or your/you're or too/to/two, or for example, adding some superfluous apostrophe's's. As in "Fuck's's Sake's'." But none of that felt right.

This is a lot of fun!

the Flame instrument seemed like a good idea at first and was putting out some bangers, but then it came to light that any track you use it on instantly turns to 90's house music and all the MIDI notes on the grid became glow sticks. this is great for certain producers but there were some "producas" on the beta team that got all pissed off when their gangsta rap tracks suddenly had all the samples replaced with clips right off of the Rave Till Dawn cd and/ot the sound track to Cool World.

you should have seen the bug reports!

in an odd twist during re-coding, it turned a 3 piece blues track into a song by the Scissor Sisters... with no undo... and with them already owning the rights.

we're hoping to get it worked out... if so, there will be a slight name change from "Live 9 Suite" to "Live 9 Sweet!".
