I wish they would give a date already. I moved on to Reaper because it sounds better (!) and I'm sequencing out of the box right now, so no advantages for Live. But I'm hanging onto my licenses (MFL too) and APC40 in hopes that 9 will kickass. If I go much longer without using it or have a date to look forward to, it's going to get liquidated, even if I end up wanting to rebuy it when 9 hits...if it is a big step forward.
All that said, Live is an awesome composition tool, I find hardware a lot more fun. Wwaaaayyyyaayyy more expensive though. Trade offs.

If every Live 9 Speculation Thread returns to gratuitous VSTi reviews, I don't ever want Ablewigeratobittington to release Final Live Pro X 9 Studio .5to the OP - you should know that this is how all Live 9 threads end up, and it will continue to get worse until Live Pro X is available on the App store.
