and on another thing i may go add, how the projects we go have now go to effect opening all up in a 64bit versian of abelton 9 ? how to sort all that out is to confuse me all the more.

64 is not evenly divisible by 9. If ableton were going to release a 64 bit version they would need to have done so by version 8. Now we won't see 64 bit support for ableton live until version 16.
