I have a session with clips at different tempos. In the scene view, I can rename the master tracks with different tempos; "Track 1 90.70bpm"
and have Track 2 be 110bpm and the master tempo will change to meet these. However, I can't seem to do this in the Arrangement view, is this possible to do or no? To clarify, in case this isn't making sense.
I want to be able to have Live switch tempos in accordance to what different clips specify in the Arrangement. So Tracks 1 and 3 would play at 90.7 and when track 2 comes in (both tracks 1 and 3 drop out) Live will then change to 110.bpm, does that make sense?
Thanks.

If I understand what you want to do correctly, you can automate the tempo change on master track.

is changing a clip's tempo in the arrangement to "master" the best way to do this?rluk wrote:If I understand what you want to do correctly, you can automate the tempo change on master track.

no. if you want to automate the global tempo then use the master track. it has an envelope taht allows you to manipulate the global time. For a clip I would say duplicate the clip and set its time differently.
