how do i clear the "open recent" tab
after deleting projects they still remain greyed out in the open recent tab...a bit of a visual nuisance....is there an easy way to clear the tab?

strangely, in my preferences folder there is no folder named "Ableton" and also no plist files with Ableton or Live in the filename.

Are you looking in your User directory? Not the root Library.... It is not a .plist, it is called Preferences.cfg.

library only appears under the main root directory
by user i assume you are referring to the name that appears with a house icon in finder

that's because the ~/Library folders are hidden in the Finder by default in Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).jagoff wrote:sorry i'm struggling with this one.

there are a few different ways to get there, the easiest is to hold down the Option key while clicking on the "Go" menu in the Finder. an entry for your user Library will then magically appear...
