Watch this video : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=322062597879566 (which was probably made just for fun)
And now look at the comments below !

Are they all deaf/crazy/brainwashed ? Or are they ALL joking ?

I've seen a lot of "love" comments, but hey, you can love whoever you want. The thing which really surprised me is that many people (not just a few ...) where "amazed" by his piano performance. Common ...

Fanboys and girls always gush about what the people they fan over, do.

And to someone who doesn't know anything about music/piano playing, that may very well sound amazing.
I remember I used to be blown away by how great it sounded when my buddy in high school would do C major arpeggio runs up and down the keyboard with the sustain pedal on, only to realize how simple it was when I started learning piano myself

Its the same thing with Avicii... Everybody thinks the kid is a musical genius.. However in reality he is a smelly, sweaty blonde preset junkie with FM8, and Battery, good drum samples; Massive, and or Reaktor..

That's the music industry right now....

I have Fm8, massive and reaktor! they are awesome. no presets though I have a no preset/loops/sample rule. Squarepusher uses reaktor to create some of his sounds. Its what you do with things that counts. When I can afford analogue I will get it :p

Don't get me wrong.. I have nothing against Massive, Reaktor or FM8... I was saying that, Avicii is really just using the presets and arp function. Almost any producer on the web forums, could be doing what he is doing.. Assuming they like to make that Electro/house stuff...

He's really not breaking any new ground, is what I am saying, and yet.... well whatever, never mind me.

OH FUCK. OK. Well IMO, that is even worse! Than he is really just a smelly, sweaty, stinky thing. He is not some innovator, or great producer. Why is he even famous? AH, that is the luck of the draw, of the current music industry
