Korg Zero 4 / Guitar Rig / Ableton help

Post by Luke FTKOSQ » Wed Jul 04, 2012 12:00 pm

Hi,

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am using a Zero 4 with Guitar Rig in Ableton.

When I plug the guitar into say channel 4 of the zero4 mixer and set the input selector on channel 4 to guitar, and then make the same settings in Ableton, I can hear both the effected guitar rig audio, as well as the dry signal coming through channel 4 of the mixer. I thought that the Zero edit software would have some kind of setting to mute the direct signal but I cannot find it?!

When I record only the guitar rig audio records, but for writing it is annoying as the sound I want is there along with the dry signal.

Make sense?
Any ideas?

Turn the mixer fader down on the channel, and have Guitar Rig / Ableton output its audio to another channel. Voila, no dry signal.
