Scroll through playing clips

Post by lanebobane » Tue Apr 05, 2011 7:20 pm

I'm not sure if this is a feature (I'm new w/ live), but I haven't been able to find this answer anywhere else.

I wish there was a way to scroll through playing clips. On my Launchpad, I have Loop On/Off, Begin Loop and End Loop assigned to 3 buttons. These will only control the looping on the selected clip that appears on the bottom of the screen. So if I'm looking at a clip on Track 1, but want to loop a playing clip on Track 2, I need to click on the playing clip on Track 2, do my looping, then click back to the clip on Track 1. Is there a button or feature that allows you to scroll between all playing clip? So that, in the above situation, I can hit this button until I'm now seeing the clip I wish to loop?

Thanks, hope that makes sense. There also may be a way to completely get around this issue that I'm unaware about, but again, I'm new to Live.

This may help.

On the top of the session is the arrangement position bar.
If you click in the first (bar) box and scroll up/down with your mouse you are scrolling the playing cue or cues.
