Hey everyone,
I just downloaded and installed NI Reaktor player so that I can start using Razor.
After rescanning plugins I now have these VST's -
Reaktor5
Reaktor5 FX
Reaktor5 FX2x8
Reaktor5 Surround
When I drag either one of them into an instrument slot it brings up the same Reaktor interface with Carbon2, Newschool, and Spacedrone (three free devices from NI).
Why so many plugins and what's the difference? A quick google search doesn't give me any clues.
Thanks,
Andy

That took me a minute to figure out. The ones that say FX can be used as an effect on a track. The surround one can be used with surround systems. Confusing but for synths, stick to the top one and for Reaktor FX use the others.

why this is confusing when a synth is an instrument and not an Audioeffect?djadonis206 wrote:Confusing but for synths, stick to the top one and for Reaktor FX use the others.

Inflection and context can get lost in translation...
