For some reason IK thinks because they're award winning and have musicians that were relevant 20 years ago they can act like trash?

Ok, IK multimedia answered my mail, very kindly.

Seems that "our" OBI IK is a kind of spam dude non-related to IK... One "obi" exists in their team, but seems not to be the one spamming here... strange, but possible?

here are the 2 answers I got from IK:

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us. I am glad you did because it appears that
the account that was posting as our representative was not Obi's account.
He has reported this to the board admins and hopefully they can figure out
what IP and such to verify this to clear his name and to ban the impostor
as this really does concern me.

We do not want to cause problems in any online forum, and I hope to have
the real Obi post in a constructive way to better help the community of
Ableton users - we respect and value all users and do not wish to tarnish
our reputation and do not want to have anybody impersonating us.

Hi,

I have to admit that when I read your correspondence I did assume that Obi
posted that post but then I noticed it was strange that the user name was
basically two of his nicknames for forums mashed together, he didn't link
to the SampleTank page directly, and that strange red "IKMULTIMEDIA" in
all caps in the signature.

In any case, I take our reputation online very seriously and I've been
working with Obi and Brian (my team and the "faces of IK" online) to best
improve in this aspect. I'm glad you alerted us to this, as I do not want
someone impersonating any IK representative. What a world we live in,
where someone would take the time to do this.
