How to route audio to record dj mix with decks and Ableton

Hi all.

I've been using ableton recently to record DJ mixes from my turntables. I connect the booth or master out on my mixer to my PC using a simple 1 steroe in/out Behringer UCA 202, then arm a track to record and...DONE.

However, I've been thinking about how to also trigger some loops/samples from Ableton to layer ove the mix live.

My problem is, if I keep the above set up, but also run the out of my soundcard back through one of the channels of the mixer (so I can hear what I'm doing on the speakers), won't the signal go twice to the recording track (once directly through Ableton, and one, having passed through the soundcard, then to the Master channel through the mixer, then through the soundcard again, mixed with whatever's being played on my decks)?

Any and all help appreciated.

Two options-

1. Connect decks to mixer to sound card to monitors. Record mixer input on one track and all ableton clips to their respective tracks internally. You then have the option to edit the ableton clips after the recording before exporting the whole thing to one file. But you don't get to cue ableton through the mixer or use it's eq (and effects he it has any)

2. Connect decks and sound card to mixer, with one mixer output to monitors, and an aux output to sound card in. Record the whole thing to one ableton track. You need to make sure monitoring of the recording track is set to OFF or you'll get a nasty ear and monitor destroying feedback loop. This way you get to use the mixer to cue ableton and use it's eq, but you cant do much with the file after recording besides a bit of mastering.
