What happened to Electro House? Played out? It’s all been done? Last I checked Beat Port it was a big yawn fest and a lot of it I had to question who decided it was Electro House. It seems everybody is aiming for Dub Step or Eastern Block German Techno.
I think it finally ran out of ideas... so everyone does the go too sawtooth, go to pluck filter automation, and then a 16th note whomp... without the whomp.
So yea, most electro sounds the same and tired.
But there is hope yet! I still make good stuff ;p
