Render what you hear and put it onto a new audio track, in place,
optionally disabling the original clip.

Re: Bounce in place.
It's not exactly the same, but if you freeze the channel you want to bounce, you can drag it down on a new audiochannel. Somewhat of the same effect

Yeah, well...Kris O'Neil wrote:It's not exactly the same, but if you freeze the channel you want to bounce, you can drag it down on a new audiochannel. Somewhat of the same effect
you know...
- Waiting for the whole track to freeze,
-Creating a new audio track,
-dragging the region you wanted to render to that new audio track,
- unfreezing the track so you can work on the other parts...
isn't the same as... Bounce in Place
Just like a "feature wishlist" is not the same as a "hey what's the workaround" list
I really do appreciate it, Kris, but I've gone back to real DAW's.

Re: Bounce in place.
Fair enough, still faster than doing a proper bounce, importing again etc etc etc... But definitely, BIP like in Logic is much more efficient..
