In a MIDI clip's velocity editor, hold CMD (or CTRL on PC) to draw a straight line. This adjusts the velocity of all selected MIDI notes. Note that this only works as long as draw mode is inactive.

When you click this area, it reveals whichever clip is playing, and displays it in the details view. Now, if you map this area, you can use the mapped key any time to reveal the playing clip, even if that clip is in the Arrangement, while you are looking at the arrangement. This may save some double clicks actually.
This is super helpful in a DJing context. I used to use this to quickly switch to the "currently playing track" -- thanks for thinking to share this, lots of people probably didn't know about it.

One other tip I often forget about, but wish I had solidly engrained into my brain is:
In Operator, you can right click the graphical OSC display to get the following options:
Copy from Osc X
Copy Envelop from Osc X
Copy Osc TO all others
and Set Levels of Envelope to Max/Mid/Min

That's amazing!

If playing clips from different scenes in Session Mode, you can consolidate them into one new scene by pressing Cmd + Shift + i.

Useful when trying to arrange your clips into sensible scenes.

Don't know if it's obscure though – but helpful nonetheless :-)

when i want to clear the windows in arrange/session for more space to view clips or tracks, instead of trying to remember the shortcuts of each, i've devised simple words:mr boil and mrs boil
if all the windows are open:
in arrange view:
hold command+alt then type m r b o i l

in session view:
hold command+alt then type m r s b o i l

that is if they are all in use.
i find it easier this way to navigate tracks and clips when a song/set grows pretty big.
reverse is easy..just do the same.

even though i have my shortcuts down, this always makes it easier to quickly create more screen real estate.
...and it's mr sakitumi (too late to change profile name)...damn

If you hit arrows down, R, up, L, Y, B during the startup screen, you can use Ableton in turbo mode.

A simple one that I was unaware of for a long time.

You can drag a midi clip or audio file straight into Live from your desktop without having to use Live's browser.

Pretty sure it's not in the manual. ( or maybe I missed it )

A bit of a  moment for me....

Edit: Soz, I thought this was the "Things I should've known, but didn't" post

This might be in the manual, but just a reminder: Reverb mixes down to mono before using the effect. If you have phasing issues between your L and R channels, you might hear little or no verb.

This however is one of my favorite things to fiddle with:
If I have a 100% wet chorus and add Utility after, setting the drop down to Left or Right, you get a fun mono vibrato effect :D
