I have noticed that in certain cases, EQ 8 introduces delay to the track it is used on. (About .045 ms for me)
Specifically I noticed this when HI-Q mode is engaged. You can test this easily by aligning two duplicate tracks, phase inverting one of them with the Utility device, and then inserting a Hi-Q EQ 8 on one of the channels.
Interestingly, at 96khz project sample rate this behaviour disappears.
Can anyone comment on this? Is this due to the delay created by a linear phase EQ?
Are there any other devices which would create this kind of delay?

It is said that oversampling creates delay.

yup, oversampling... many threads on it in here.
