I have been informed that my own commercial plugins are included in those packs, very annoying. I am having continuous battles trying to combat this.
Just have a startup script that says "If you purchased this on eBay, click here to get your free version 2 update!". Then "format c:\"

Thats a good idea, as a developer it is extremely frustrating to see other people selling your products without a care in the world for all the hard work we put into them. Its a long and drawn out process but I get a lot of satisfaction from nailing these b@st@rds.

If you could understand sarcasm, you would've realised that I ran with your Mac vs PC vibe.

I'm not going to point out the 'spelling' errors in your above post...... I'm sure you can write.

When installing them I kept getting warnings that files had been blocked because of 'suspiciouscloud.2' or a trojanadh and things like that. I was googling it and certain people had said some patches just become detected as that even though they aren't dangerous.

Have any of you gotten viruses from plugins?

I'm using Windows 7.

funny either way

Haha nah I wasn't trolling. This was a while ago and I bought a couple of discs off ebay that had loads of different plugins.
My anti virus picked some of them up as having viruses.

It's all good now.

Cheers for the replies!

Problem solved.

They weren't cracks. I don't use cracks. It was a thing I bought on ebay with terrible plugins.

I have bought a few nice plugins since then :) ... Not on ebay!
