click drag the timeline in the note editor. click drag the left side where the note names are. click drag at the bottom thingy that switches between the note editor and device view for that track. oh. and 2 finger swipe on MBP trackpad.

that's 4. do i get extra points?

next question. name 3 ways you can change your live set tempo from 100 to 130 at exactly 2:00 minutes into your song...

Automation on master track, scene change ie "130 bpm", change bpm manually and hit record enable then play.

How do you zoom out on a whole set in arrange view?

Click and hold a note and drag it in any direction beyond the current display of the timeline. The timeline scrolls left, right, up, down.

Click the start, end or length titles in clip property box.

What's the best sound card?

Edit: sorry, that's not a drag. And not really a scroll either. I withdraw my question.

My favorite way to scroll, works almost everywhere you can (browser, track effects, piano roll, arrangement, etc):

PC: Hold CTRL+ALT and drag
Mac: Hold COMMAND+OPTION and drag

A quiz or Tip.

Did you know, you can Key Map clips in any dezired range, by holding down one key at the same time as holding down a corresponding higher octave key in midi map mode.

This also works for some devices, like resonator, which makes quick slection of notes to fit pitch a breeze for a sequence. :o

Scratch that, it's does'nt work, It can with max4live midi note send api, but that's not what I thought.

Looks like a request, Resonator to support midi note input..

If it improves my key shortcut skills, it's deffinately 'All Good'

I'm thinking 'Detachment from mouse useage in music making' has been the overall theme for this years, conversation in music tech, DAW and DSP.
