Hello all,
Not finding anything with Google...
Can I use Ableton Live to make a slide show where the changing images are tied to events in my music.
This must be possible via MIDI events, but is it easy? Is there already something built-in or easily added to Ableton?
Thanks in advance
Peter

If Google can't find it, then...
No. Live is made for audio production and has no built in features for visual processing.

This is straight-up not true. You can edit video in Arrangement view and also drop JPGs into a track lane to display for as long as the clip lasts in arrangement, and then render it out using Quicktime codecs.has no built in features for visual processing.
Video proof, that I just put together using some desktop images I had lying around
It's not robust by any means, and there are definitely much, much better software for slideshows that you could use, but it definitely works in a pinch.

With max4live it could be done, v-module M4L plugin for example : http://www.fabriziopoce.com/max.html
