OK I might be dating myself here (meaning I'm old) but I'm thinking at least a few people on this board know about the old Acapella Anonymous series. They were viny only releases of bootlegged 'pellas, rumored to be stolen from master tapes in the middle of the night, or something like that.
Anyway my question is, even though there have been tons of releases containing samples from A.A. records, are they actually legal? Should a label be worried about putting out tracks with A.A. samples in them?

Re: Acapella Anonymous legal question
If you use someone else's original material, they can sue you for it, whether they are likely to do so or not is the main variable you should be considering.
