Where can I find some good Sleigh Bells?

Post by mojo75 » Thu Oct 04, 2012 10:06 pm

I am doing some holiday music, and I need some sleigh bells. I did a search for sleigh bells in my Ableton, and it found nothing. Is there some sleigh bells out there already, or can someone point me in the right direction to building my own set if I must?

Thanks.

if you're a good boy, Santa will land on your roof at Christmas.

point your Sure SM7 toward the chimney, arm your track, set the record button. at 11:59 pm hit play.

Plenty on this...

And remember - the family that sleighs together, slays together.

Failing that, try your local garden centre in a few weeks. Loads of 'em. Buy, press record, and shake.

Try here:

http://www.freesound.org

or various hip hop sample packs - they seem to have sleigh bells for some reason

I know I can download samples from many different places. I was just wondering if there were some sleigh bells already in Ableton somewheres.

Thanks for the help.

if you're not dead set on sleigh bells... Latin Percussion has a bunch of cool sounds. another alternative, if you have a mic, would be to buy some... tis the season and all that. you can probably find some soon... if not already.

what are you trying to do? what kind of track are you making?
