A question: is there not a way to record a segment and then find a loop within it *before* you try to assign the BPM?
My tempo isn't clock-solid, so I can't really tap a tempo to match (it'll drift).
Here's what I think I'd like to do:
1) record segment
2) drag crop in/out markers while the cropped segment plays looping, so I can find the preferred loop.
3) after that, now assign the BPM as an even division of that loop.
