will you upgrade?

Post by ian_halsall » Thu Oct 25, 2012 3:17 pm

At 299 EUR to get from suite 8 and m4l to suite 9 I am far from certain that I will "upgrade".

Price is too high.

I also own suite 8 and MFL but my upgrade says 199 Euros which still seems steep for 1 new effect (tho the updates to EQ8 and the Gate look cool). To answer your question I wont be upgrading based on the current info tho I'm sure that will change before the release date
Live 11 Suite (64 bit)
Windows 10 (64 bit)
Plugins galore

Yes, no doubt. Session automation + an stand alone LFO make it worth it to me. Everything else is gravy.

I upgraded today thanks to the cheap Live 8 > Suite 8 > Free Suite 9 offer :)

+1 Yep it's too high!

I think 150 Euro from Suite8 to Suite9 I would pay, but not more.

I feel the same.

I have Suite 8, MAX for Live and their Orchestral Instrument library and it is going to cost me $334 to upgrade?

So far, I really like what I've seen of Push and it makes me glad that I didn't buy Maschine as it is ideal, but $883? really?

If Live 9 has improved quality and stability, then I'll consider coming back...

Push also seems to be "that" what really will do the thing !

...we'll see what the Lite version looks like.
No! I'll never use the Push-App Live 9 !!!

I agree, i wrote them a letter because I think this is wrong. I am quoted $299.00 to go from Live 8 Suite to Live 9 Suite.

If I had Live 8 (non suite) I can upgrade to Live 9 Suite at half that price. THAT is just wrong.

I wanna downgrade to upgrade path please :)

Write their support team a letter, I did!

Will definatly upgrade 4sho! A great introducing offer for longtime users would be nice.

The new features are really nice. I've linked all the vids on twitter here: https://twitter.com/bytechop

It seems Bitwig is offboard when Live 9 was released.

cheers

After watching all the PUSH vids a few times, I am REALLY STOKED about it.
Looks like the perfect step sequencing solution, wether thats going to hardware OR software.

Congratulations, you are the first official upgrader! A true pioneer and we are all jealous. Bastard! :D

Well, I still have to wait for the release of Live 9 obviously, but at least I now get Live 8 Suite to play with :)
