Live 9 retina support?
Anyone know if Live 9 will support retina displays?
Re: Live 9 retina support?
There won't be. I can confirm this because I just got my 13" Retina and the screen shots on Abe's webpage look all pix'laaaded and shiat.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not
Re: Live 9 retina support?
I'm not. I'm genuinely stupid.

Would be fine but does it not fires too much CPU power?

That is bad. Ableton Live looks close to awful on a 13" retina display. It actually looks so pixelated that it interferes and slows down my workflow

i Hope retina-support will come for the final version ... can't understand why they wouldn't support as the graphics already vectorbased

Apple sucks anyway, better bring touch support for WIN 8. You know something actually usefull.

Anyone tried Low Resolution mode? Right-click, select Get Info, and see if that's checked. Or you could try changing the display's resolution, it's my understanding that 1280x800 on a Retina Display will look like the 1280x800 on the 13" MBP I have.
I realize then you lose that sexy sharpness on everything. There are menu bar apps out there that let you change on the fly pretty quickly, though.
I don't 'produce.' I write music.

You're right: because Apple sucks so bad that it would be RETARDED of Ableton to accommodate an obviously doomed technology that will not represent any kind of standard within five years of this morning at 2 pm. Fuck Apple and fuck improved resolution.login wrote:verstaerker wrote:i Hope retina-support will come for the final version ... can't understand why they wouldn't support as the graphics already vectorbased

Yep, I ciuld get tha resolution 3 years ago in a desktop monitos, still hasent been implemented across the board, it's usefull only for games and photoshop, for audio? meh.
Touchscreen support on the other hand would be very usefull to control the program.
