Live PDC

may someone elaborate:

record latency compensation
1) empy set, one audio track, recording from mic, record arm, metronome on (track records from mic recording metronome click)
2) set ASIO latency of sound card to lowest sample buffer (32), record one bar
3) create a second audio track, recording from mic, record arm
4) set ASIO latency of sound card to highest sample buffer (4096), record one bar

now, both clips should have on bar of metronom clicks recorded through the mic.

The click should line up at 1.1.1.0, right? But Live doesn't compensate for the record latency and doesn't offset the sample to line up correctly at 1.1.1.0, right?

ok, forget about it. of course, the output latency applies, too, which live cannot know about.
I was wrong, sorry..
