audio to midi like live 9?
audio to midi like live 9?
Is there anything out there that will do audio to midi like Live 9's chord, drum, melody extraction?
Re: audio to midi like live 9?
google "free audio to midi vst" and one of the results is this

It may be a bit more difficult to use than what you saw in Live9 videos, but at least some 2midi conversions can be done.

Thanks. I've tried some out there (It has been years though) like that one, I'm looking for something bit more polished that spits out results based on an output preference "midi, chord, melody" like Live 9.

I guess you have tried Melodyne editor... Everything and more, less the Drum Extraction... well, you can do it with a lot extra effort.. but that's extra time.db120 wrote:Is there anything out there that will do audio to midi like Live 9's chord, drum, melody extraction?

I use beside Live, mainly StudioOne with Melodyne integrated.
Take any audio and add it on a track with Melodyne.
Drag that audio from the Melodyne track onto another empty midi track,
and boom you have extracted the audio to midi !!!
Takes just a millisecond and done in one move...!
No menu opened or any other command needed.
Just drag and drop !

No! I'll never use the Push-App Live 9 !!!

I have when it first came out but the demo I had was buggy. Looks like it's the best option so far and I should give it another go.I guess you have tried Melodyne editor... Everything and more, less the Drum Extraction... well, you can do it with a lot extra effort.. but that's extra time.
