These patches are amazing, recently I wanted to credit their creator in a blog poat but couldn't find the forum post where he shared them. It's good to have a page to link to.

I used to use it to recreate a lot of Justice / MSTRKRFT style bass/lead lines -- It was really easy and awesome at getting those tearing sounds.

I also typically use it to back up my kick/bass. It is a very versatile synth if you know how to use it!

I feel like of all the FM type synths I've used, Operator has been the most intuitive, and helped teach me what FM synthesis is all about. I think it had a lot to do with the routing panel, and being able to click different options and hear what is going on.

I'm coming from a real yamaha Tx-802, even if operator has only 4ops, I was so gald to feel the FM vibe again.
So I love using operator.
I use it for so many different tasks from kicks, hihats, snares, any drum sounds, to good bass, nice landscape, textures.

An endless joy.

Cant wait to set up my room for the studio and plug the tx-802 for playing both with operator

Christian Kleine's patches are very inspirating, be sure you will record 2 or 3 tracks within the days you have downloaded them

If ever an album needed some judicial application of Operator, it's that stinker...

While were here, I was messing with Operator today and came up with this patch...

http://www.zexualhealing.com/files/dj_op.zip

Herbie Hancock style synthesized DJ scratch thing. Really good fun and potentially useful.

i like to do the same only with the algorithm selector. so nasty!
