I use Ableton almost exclusively as a DAW.oddstep wrote:I can't imagine not wanting session automation. Are you just working in arrangement or with premixed audio clips when you play live?
This is incorrect. jBridge is the official solution. Live 9 will not have a built in bridge.Upright wrote:I believe it's coming, it's just not implemented yet...the Live 9 beta page says it's coming.
FL Studio, also, provide this bit-bridge free of charge.SpeedKing wrote:
And (not being an apologist OR whiner!), but which other DAWs (other than current FL) have a built in bit bridge?
Any users of FL Studio prior to v10 would have received it as a free upgrade. So yes, there is nothing to compare it to, because if you're an existing user, it is free.oddstep wrote:well, included within the standard price... there isn't a FL without bitbridge to compare prices with
And there you go.deanthomastunes wrote:Because it's a surplus piece of software that should be integrated. Plus, I do not want to hadn over £15 to some website that looks rather dodgy.
Umm, wouldn't it be cheaper to purchase JBridge vs FL Studio? By maybe %50? Anyways, not to add fuel to the fire but there is an alternative to purchase and use should you feel the need to do this. So you have a choice, purchase and use, or complain that the abes haven't put it into Live 9. I can live without it or spend a bit more cash and get it. I am just not too thrilled with update cost to Live 9 personnaly but that's a different thread.TabSel wrote:Guys, buy FLStudio for the bridge and use the FLStudio VST in Live 8 and bridge the hell out of your plugins.
There won't be an inbuild bridge. Get over it.
