max4live devices add windowed session, mixer and devices

Post by ameree » Tue Jan 22, 2013 2:53 pm

Hi, I've been developing some special workflow enhancing devices for people who want to float various parts of the live interface. This allows you to use mixer, session and device views more flexibly. Now you can use session view to improvise right into an arrangement while watching it, or use session view to perform live while watching your track arrangement play! It has additional features like resizing and view lock scrolling to launchpad and APC.

I'm offering them for an introductory price of $9+ (that's only $3+ each!) learn more at my youtube channel www.youtube.com/learnmax, and purchase at http://gum.co/FXGCK to show your support.

If I get reasonable support, I can continue to post tutorial videos and improve these devices!

Thanks,

Eric

I've noticed your stuff on YT for the past week. Very cool stuff. Since I've been beta testing, I've been looking more into accessing the Live API via M4L. Even that trial mini-session device is awesome. Since so many people want dual screen support, I think your stuff will really take off. I imagine since a lot more people will be using M4L pretty soon, so if you have time to do more tutorials on M4L/Live API stuff, you'll probably have a leg up on exposure and selling your devices. Thanks!

yeah, your tutorials are top notch.
I don't really desire floating dual screen stuff, I'm trying to ditch the screen for the most part.
However when I saw your patch I was excited to see someone had built such things for the folks who are begging for it.

I hope this takes off for you and we see more great tutorials.

Thanks! I hope some people will buy them just for the tutorial value! Personally I think it's some of the most creative M4L LOM API coding around, but I'm biased   and they're only $9+ (I'm keeping the youtube tutorials free)

Yeah, paypal would be great. Many Europeans don't have a credit card at hand.

ameree you should really advertise this if you want money.
Make a "Dual Screen Floating Windows" thread in the main forum.
Also throw something up at the beta forum, maybe some other places, Sythtopia?

You'll get plenty that way.
