Personally I smoked it daily for 20 years and then stopped, and I've not had it for 10 years, but if I'd had this book I'm sure it would have been easier, as I can guess what it's like after reading 2 of Carr's books.
I believe the author was cured of a heroin addiction by Carr's method.
Effective for 59% of trial patients, compared to 50% for Carr's dated method, and 38% for an LSD placebo.
Currently, the NHS says it has "no plans to introduce LSD as treatment for addiction".
