Drum and Bass Tune

Post by jbauerctu » Sun Jan 13, 2013 4:30 pm

Hi all,

Here's my 3rd attempt at a DNB tune made in Ableton.

I'd be interested to know what you think. Personally I think it's not mixed quite right, I'm still figuring out what I'm doing with EQ and compression etc

Your main issue is actually your panning. Your energetic elements should be more centred. Otherwise you're doing it wrong :x

Interesting, I have actually panned quite a few elements hard right an left. I'll have another play and see what I can do.

Thank you

:D I've been trying for a week now with the mix but it just sounds worse :(

I'm going to start again by removing all EQ and starting from the ground up

Upload your stems to Dropbox, PM me the private link. I haven't stolen anyone's music in a long time.
