I used Suite 8 and a Collings MT Mandolin for these two tracks I released last night under the title "The Frenzy". I come from a bluegrass background but threw Suite in the mix and this is what happened. Something a little different than what you're used to hearing on here....i hope y'all enjoy but any critiques would be most appreciated. working on getting the whole sound in shape...

Re: operator+mandolin
I like it. I was expecting something folky at first so it was a nice surprise the mandolin wasn't the center of the piece (not that that would be a bad thing).
I like Eventuality a litt bit more, especially the drum sound and filtering, then mandolin solo was nice.
A couple ideas:
The pitched attack of the synth in Frenzy gets annoying about halfway through, but please note that I get annoyed easily.
I would try crossfading around the last 30 seconds of Frenzy and first 45 seconds of Eventuality (or thereabouts) and hear how it sounds, as if Frenzy was more like an intro and the rain of Eventuality comes in as frenzy starts fading out.
Keep it up!
