What is the best use of looper you've done?

Hello guys , i am thinking of using looper to do some tap delay echo live effects to my songs, any suggestion how to make the perfect device of it?
And question , what have you been using looper for? out of the context of recording instrument? what better use of it will you advise completely crazy and out of his context?

It's good for reversing audio on the fly, especially on the Master or a drum bus.
I can't remember the settings off hand though.

That's really cool it gives a kind of crunchy granualr white noise, the vid is excellent as well, do you think you could send an ald file with your set up, not that im gonna use it the way you use it , but to study the possibilities of it, if it's not too much asked, have you got dropbox ?

shit just saw your live vid, u got shit loads of hardware , 2 LCHPD , 3 synth at least , what is it? is one a jupiter , juno or cs80? Your perfomance must be really stamina consuming , keep it up!

Sorry, i won't share my livesets, but it's pretty simple. I have a looper on the drum channel, and i midi mapped record/+oct/-oct/Clear function on push encoders. On the album version, i also automated the speed parameter to make vinyl-like effects.
The granular sounding of the drums is maybe because i made all my drum hits using granular stuff within audiomulch.

(My live setup currently consists on 2 LP (with a max patch), 1 BCF2000, a midi keyboard, a Nord Rack, a MFB Krafzwerg, a Roland MC 202, a midi foot controller, some stuff and of course violin and guitar.)

Cool man, what an equipment, greatly M4L will be integrated in suite 9, that sound like gold to my ears, I' d like to set up a live setup for myself, but i'm still getting some sklls at production and god it takes long.
And thanks for the info, I dunno how im gonna make use of looper, but i was thinking of using it in combination with a kind of dubdelay to make some live looper effect 'tape echo delay'-like if that make sense, but i need to think how to route the whole thing, and to know if that could be useful at some point for some dub effect, but anyway thanks for your time,and if you are interested or think of anything you'd like to share, give me a shout! ;D
