128G iPad now available. I can’t imagine anybody buying these except super uber fanboys or people who don’t have an iPad yet, or maybe an iPad 1 or 2. The price is too steep but if they do a refresh with a new design and shift the prices down by $100 in the fall then I think they will do quite well.

Sounds like both of us had a tech related distraction crisis this weekend. There's nothing more tragic to an American than a distraction lost to a tech FAIL. If only we knew, we could have gotten together and shot a bunch of holes into something which is a perfectly acceptable way to vent frustration.

In other news
Apple has added a “Breakout Books” section to the iBooks store which is all self-published books with high ratings (no that won’t get gamed, nope). These books are also substantially cheaper than books with big name publishers.
I welcome this because I need to read more and am at a total loss of what books I would like. The last fiction book I read was a self-published scifi book I got from the Kindle store for $2. It was quite good and I see this as the same thing as supporting independent music that doesn’t have a massive $$ backed PR machine to force it into your ears.

Jailbreaking IOS6 today, does anyone know how to keep infinifolders settings via PkgBackup (never worked well when I tried it a couple years ago) or is there a better app or method for this now? There's so much conflicting info out there, thanks for any heads up!
