I think this may have to do with different personality types.

One seems to dwell on negative experiences in the past, the other looks at the promise of the future, and how to fully exploit the tools they have, with or without limitations.

Hence why one drops a magnificent deuce in their living room, whilst another leaves a dusty old turd in their closet.

I guess the best we can all do is be understanding and accepting of Both types of personalities.

I see three personality types:

Those that dwell on negative past experiences, those that look to the promise of the future, and shills that are selling a product.

i was just under the assumption, that this forum, aside from being as entertaining as it is, was here to be a resource for its users. i had a negative experience with maschine....i like to share what i went through, because i wish someone had told me, about all the stuff i tell people about maschine, before i got mine. thats it. im the "cons" column.
i've tried not to be too much of an asshole about it, until these guys started attacking me about it a few maschine posts back.

You can use all the maschine library with anything. I gave mine to a friend for Logic.

Maschine is good if you are into sampling and miss the contact you get with an instrument. Push will do that too but not for samples.

I like this kind of discussion where there are people for and against. I am always looking for any tool to make production easier and more fun but I am not after a toy just to play with. I tend to like to get all the facts, not just the marketing, and then decide if it will be more a "fun" or "useful" device to have. If it is BOTH then just tell me where to send the cheque.
