What should my first paid software synth be?

I know that Ableton has many possibilities, but I don't really have any software synths yet beyond the Instrument Rack, TAL-Elek7ro, and the Sylenth1 demo. At this point, I am considering:

Step 1:
-Upgrade to Live Standard and buy Operator, maybe also Analog
OR
-Upgrade to Live Suite

Step 2:
-Massive
OR
-Arturia Minimoog V

Or perhaps I should ditch the software synths and try hardware...What would you recommend?

I don't need it I have too many synths. Diva, Sylenth, Tremor, Reason, Predator, Korg legacy collection, Prism, Reaktor Spark, Razor, Retro Machines and these are all just off the top of my head. I am sure I am forgetting something. So I will happily sell Operator since the only synths I really use are Reason, Diva, Tremor and Sylenth.

Get some U-he synths and some commercial presets for them. They are easy as good as hardware synths. Diva being the closest to analog is getting an Arp added this year. Zebra is getting new filters and a resonator and other bits. ACE now has multicore support. ZebraHZ a custom version was used to make the music in The Dark Knight Rises and can now be bought along with the actual bat man presets from the last two films.

My first pick for a begineers synth would be u-he DIVA.

but roght now I would take advantage of the discount and upgrade to suite 8, get also suite 9 and be done with Operator and Analog for a while.

Then later you will evaluate what type of synth you need next.
