Hi, I'm having a problem with the MIDI effect "Note Length"
I'm using it to add a sustain-like effect to a note, and it seems to work perfectly. But not on the 2nd play of the loop.
Lets say I have a loop with one F note and after that a ....I dunno...A note? We'll say that. Anyway, on the first playback it sustains the A note, but on the 2nd playback it cuts the entire note off early. I notice on every odd playback, it does that to the 1st note, and on the evens it does that to the 2nd note.
Any help?
Note Length problem?

Bump. Can someone please help me out here? Is this even the right forum to ask?
Re: Note Length problem?
Do you mean you have a loop that is oscillating between f and a. F plays. A plays. F plays again. F stops sooner than you'd expect.?

Re: Note Length problem?
Yes, I think. But it alternates because when F doesn't stop sooner, A does.
I've since sorta fixed it by instead of using Note Length I adjusted the decay and sustain, but I'd still like to know what was wrong.

Re: Note Length problem?
I have this same problem. The problem is: If a note exists on the first beat of any given clip (in my example the loop is in session view) , it will not play properly if playback ever reaches the first beat of the first bar in ARRANGEMENT. So if you have an arrangement loop going, and a MIDI clip in session view with a notelength effect on the track. It cuts the note off super short anytime playback in arrangement hits 1.1.1. Weird huh?
