Is Ableton attempting a bait and switch by having special pricing for Live 9 on March 5th - March 12th and then on March 13th, unshackling 8.4 from beta status?

Sigh. Yes, I'm frustrated by a lack of information on this. Seems kind of tricky to be putting out a 8.x beta version at the same time or later than the 9 release/special offer.

I've been really burnt by some Apple decisions over the past 18 months and of course they love to keep everybody in the dark. I'm getting really exhausted giving over money to platforms that are not openly working to satisfy their customers and provide at least some degree of communication and transparency.

Goes without saying we have been really busy with Live 9, but we have been workign on fixes for live 8.4beta 10 that we just released.
I have posted elsewhere that the beta and release cycle of Live 8.4 is independent of Live 9 and there will be no forced updates in that sense.
