Flipping a Stereo Audio Clip ?
Flipping a Stereo Audio Clip ?
Hello,
I'm a Newbie user so I may have missed a command somewhere that will do what I want to accomplish.
I've been working on adding a sound effect in the Intro, a thunder clap. The original sample was recorded in stereo but the particular sample I'm using starts out "Left weighted" and over a few seconds it moves to "center" of the stereo image. I'm using this same clip 3 times. Each time played at lower volume as the music starts.
What I want to do is FLIP one of the clip. In other words, Left sound coming out the Right side and Right sound coming out the Left. There is a "Reverse" that FLIPS the clip "front to back", making the the clip play in reverse. I thought there would be a command that would FLIP it "sideways", Left & Right wise.
The long winded way to do this is to bounce the track TWICE, then use "Utility", ignore one side on each newly bounced track. Then bounce the 3 tracks into one. There must be an easier way.
Is there a command that FLIPS the sides on a stereo audio clip ??
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks
Ed

I am also a producer. I make genre defining dubstep which my mate, Jeff, says is hot. I correlate the quality of my work to the number of sample packs I buy daily. I have been producing for over two weeks, but feel I'm already one of the industry's leaders.Valiumdupeuple wrote:A "producer" should have noticed the swap function in Utility...
