'Back to arrangement' problem

Post by dilshan89 » Mon Feb 18, 2013 3:49 am

Hey guys,

On one of my tracks, I cant play anything in Session view without the 'Back to arrangement' button lighting up pink. This makes my clips sound very strange, and different. It happened suddenly while working, and I can't get it to stop. Help please?

Do you have anything tracked in Arrangement? The BTA button will light up when you take over something in Clip mode (including the mixer). It should simply continue to playback what is in Arrangement except whatever you are touching.

If you press it does it just go back to Arrangement? If it comes back for no reason you may have a controller sending something?

Hey thanks for your reply. Haven't got anything recorded in Arrangement view. Only working with Session view. When I click any clip/scene, the BTA button lights up and it all sounds different. I try stopping everything, and unclicking the BTA button, but when I try playing a clip/scene again, the BTA button lights up again. No controllers connected either.

Especially the bass/kick sounds. They sound really different...

I am pretty sure that the back to arrangement light is Not the problem. It will always light up when you use anything in Session View.

The problem is probably the warp settings of your clips, and possibly your chosen tempo in relation to them.
